Cheer Tip Tuesday – Get Gift Bag Items on Sale

Cheer Tip Tuesday – Get Gift Bag Items on Sale

Many team parents often buy items for the gift bags to give to each cheerleader at each competition. Usually, a couple of parents are assigned or step up to get the gifts together, but for the big competitions everyone gives something.  There are different types of parents that help out.  There are the crafty parents that love making stuff, the foodie parents that will do snacks and the money parents that would rather just give money.  For each of these types the dollars can add up.

It is beneficial to the parent by creating less stress and it also saves money. We all go in to stores or shop online and most likely will see a good sale and there is always cheer competition coming up.  Why not buy those 15 or so (in my case 31) items on sale?  We know that competition cheer is an expensive sport why not save money when and where you can?  Next time, you are in a big box store go cruise down the clearance aisle or look at sales.  Even if it is not your turn to contribute you will be ready and saved some money.
